Origin Energy Launches TV ads for CSG

Origin, the energy supplier, has launched a new campaign highlighting the benefits of its coal seam gas activities, supported by a four-minute TVC.

The “Working Together” campaign created by BCM also features a country music track composed and recorded by the energy supplier’s agency.

There are regional TV ads, press, radio, online activity, a dedicated campaign website and local promotional activities. The ads feature real consumers in their everyday surroundings taking about their support for Origin and its use of coal seam gas as an alternative energy source.

BCM partner Kevin Moreland says: “Regional communities have always been the backbone of the country and this campaign continues to acknowledge that point.”

More than 150 local people appear in the ads, including farmers who have assisted Origin develop its coal seam gas business by providing access to their land for development.

The energy supplier says its coal seam gas projects in South West Queensland continues to expand rapidly. It currently delivers over 30 per cent of Queensland’s natural gas needs.

There are also 60 and 90 second versions of the TV ads.
